Moyers & Morello: Stand Up

Last night I watched Bill Moyers, as I do every Sunday, and was totally inspired by Tom Morello. He said he does rock and roll to give a voice to folks in our society who have none. Sometimes I don’t know why I keep blogging, offering workshops, and selling my memoir. Listening to him I realized that I help other women find their voice, as well as the parts of themselves they have lost, a I lost little Nancy. Together we find commonality, and learn that we are not alone, we are connected by these stories. I stand up for them, and teach them to stand up for themselves and one another through my work. That is surely reason enough to continue.
